• Brandon Roc Carr has created quite a buzz for himself in the 8 years that he has been doing hair. After graduating from Pivot Point International, Brandon Roc carved a niche for himself in the alternative hair scene with his innovative presentations of both freestyle and coloring. Before taking on his current position as owner and creator of Rocstar Hair, he was previously master stylist at Chicago's Clandestine Industries Salon. A concept boutique/ salon founded by Pete Wentz of the Grammy nominated band Fall Out Boy. Brandon was also a lead stylist at a Chicago salon that was a part of their team that competed and won at Chicago's Hair Wars competition. Brandon has exercised his talents of edgy cutting, coloring,clipper graphics and styling on a broad celebrity clientele like Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simspon-Wentz, Jermy Depoyster of The Devil Wears Prada, Rock of Love's season winner Jes Rickleff. As well as members of the following bands 30 seconds to Mars, Rancid, The Mars Volta, Hole and Makeshift Prodigy.
  • Erin Nelson currently holds court as the First Lady of Rocstar Hair. A graduate of Capri Beauty in Oak Forrest, IL and licensed since 2002, this former derby girl for the Chicago Outfit brings an eclectic array of skills and technique to the table. As an experienced colorist and cutting specialist, she has taken her craft to new levels by becoming an educator for Alterna Hair Care as well as becoming an up and coming platform stylist for the brand. She is also certified in global Keratin Smoothing System. She loves her craft and loves a challenge and is proud to be proficient in specializing with curly hair, wedding and formal styling, and having work utilized in editorial print work. Having also furthered her training under leading stylists such as Chris Baran, Jill Leitz, and Michael Shaun Corby to name a few, she has obtained a skill set that has led to celebrities such as Beth Ditto from The Gossip to sit in her chair and let her work her magic.
  • Nicholas Britton is currently a lead stylist at Rocstar Hair and is established in the Chicago hair industry with 9 years of experience under his belt. A graduate of Pivot Point International, Nick has gone on to become a jack of all trades and not only styles and colors, but also competes with his craft. A veteran of Hairwars 2004 and 2008, he has also styled for Medusa's Chicago fashion/hair events as well as for hair presentations presented by Milio's Chicago from 2002 to 2008. He is certified in Rusk level 1 and 2 cutting and product training as well as a platform stylist for the brand and an in-salon educator. He is Wella long hair certified since 2009 and has done platform work at the Midwest Beauty Show showcasing techniques in permanent straightening. When Nick is not Barrel curling or blow-drying, you can find him loving life in Logan Square riding his bike, singing karaoke, or playing Rockband.
